Alan Kashdan

Alan Kashdan has successfully managed commercial real estate transactions throughout his career. He brings 40 years of corporate, small business, and startup experience to the group. Born and educated in New York State, he has performed the function of site selector and property evaluator, while playing middle management and executive rolls in major NY and NJ corporations, key rolls in dynamic startup companies in the tri-state area, owned and operated his own business for 8 years, and has consulted for domestic and international companies throughout his career.

Alan is our Project Management expert in the group, having achieved his PMP certification (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). His expertise includes integrating real estate within a business’ strategic planning processes. This includes: managing real estate purchases and development; overseeing due-diligence to effective completion; identifying details and simplifying complexities of commercial transactions; streamlining real estate processes and taking cost-effective measures.

Alan has taken a personal interest in the community at large, working directly with America’s troubled youth in Newark and Patterson New Jersey. In the ‘90’s, he was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” for his efforts in developing and delivering extensive youth support programs (Schools, Half-Way Houses and One-On-One) working with “At Risk” youths from underprivileged homes.

His hobbies include horses, sailing, autos, hunting, diving, and home renovation. He received his BS from Cornell University, and did his graduate work at MIT. Alan understands business, understands real estate, and works to get you what you want as quickly, efficiently, and as cost effectively as possible.
