Newburgh, NY 12550

The Town of Newburgh is 45 square miles which includes Stewart International Airport and Stewart Air National Guard Base.  Newburgh is situated approximately 60 miles north of New York City and is located in the extreme northeast corner of Orange County.  Orange County is the only county in New York that borders both the Hudson and Delaware River.

Along the banks of the Hudson River in Newburgh you will find fine dining restaurants, boat launches, parks and a new ferry boat that takes you on a 10 minute ride across the Hudson River to the Metro North station in Beacon.  This ferry service resumed on October 17, 2005 forty-two years after it stopped back in 1963 when the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge was opened.
